Keesha Williams BS, Graduate Student Intern

I am currently offering online sliding scale fee individual sessions to those economically impacted by Covid-19

My goal is to provide a calm therapeutic space where clients can safely express themselves, feel “seen” and have their concerns validated. I believe the counseling process is inclusive, open to all, providing each of us with the opportunity to work through the inevitable dilemmas that arise in daily life.

As your counselor, I will strive to provide a judgement free environment, support and assistance with the process of discovering your personal strengths and developing the skills that you need to navigate life. I am passionate about creating a comfortable environment that will allow you to explore and grow in your own unique way at your own pace.

My approach is psychodynamic, with an interest in exploring how family history and past experiences influence our daily life. I am a Graduate Student at Northwestern University Family Institute pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I recently graduated summa cum laude from The University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I am excited to be working under the supervision of Lori Beard, LMHC and to gain from her experience using Cognitive Behavioral and Jungian Oriented therapy approaches.

I am currently offering two Zoom Psychoeducational Groups. These are small weekly groups focusing on Stress Management 101 and Art Therapy for Self Care (for more information see the Online Group Therapy page). I am also available for weekly individual sessions with a sliding scale fee schedule. Please contact Lori Beard at 904 405 9469 to inquire or enroll.
